Family Portraits!

We did some family photos on Saturday. One of my friends from work, Michelle, is an aspiring photographer. She has traveled to Mozambique for our work to do photos as well. So to build her portfolio, she came to our house and did some photos. There are some absolutely beautiful photos of Ema and some other fun photos as well. Ema took to Michelle right away. I think it really helped that we were in Ema's element and not making her sit in front of a background. You can check out the photos of Ema playing here.




After shooting some photos outdoors, focusing mainly on Ema, we went inside and set up a fake "studio" of sorts. We used a black backdrop that another friend lent us. Although Michelle had to do some post-production work to clean up the photos, I think the results were great! You can see the "studio" photos here.
