The Holidays

Wow, that was fast! Already, the holidays have come to an end. It was quick, but we enjoyed every minute!

We spent Christmas in Indiana with my family. Ema enjoyed all her time with Papa and Grandma, her Aunts and uncle and especially her two cousins. The three of them just played and played. And they seemed to get along pretty well! We had a Christmas celebration with my mom's family and Ema got to spend time with her Great Great Aunts and Great Great Uncle as well as some cousins. We went to an indoor waterpark, Wana Waves, which was a blast. Ema really took to the water and was even going down headfirst down the kiddie slide, until the lifeguard came and told her she couldn't slide down that way! The two big slides were a lot of fun and the adults all enjoyed those. They were completely in tunnels and even went outside...I could feel the slight temperature difference. Christmas day was amazing for Ema and her cousins. They were just completely spoiled by Santa (aka Grandma). They each received a new baby doll, baby stroller, baby bed, baby swing, amongst many other gifts! It was great to see the excitement on Ema's face when she saw those gifts. She just kept saying, 'Wow' over and over!

At the end of our trip, we were able to visit Brandy, who is Ema's godmother, in Indianapolis. We did a nice two-hour trek to Target...no babies, no men! I introduced Brandy to the post-Christmas deals that are out there! We also went downtown to see all the great lights.

The drive back was long...an 11-hour trip. As much fun as we had during the trip, we were glad to be home! Ema and I rang in the new year with our eyes closed...we crashed out! Gage made it to midnight...not sure how he rang it in by himself!
Enjoy all our great photos!
