The day was spend at a beautiful place on top of a mountain where sponsors met their kids. Some kids traveled 14 hours by bus. Jen said it was a great day filled with emotion. Fun was had by both sides.
For dinner, she ate grilled chicken wrapped in three or four different fruits and pasted with mango salsa. She loved it. Jen has also tried guava, which she likes a lot. However, to eat a guava right, the fruit must be brick hard and dipped in chilly. Yummy. Jen isn't so hot about papaya. I'll have to get her to try a Vietnamese papaya salad with beef jerky. That's perhaps my favorite appetizer of all time.
We didn't talk a lot about her day. She's ready to come home and just chill. Friday will be mainly travel and free time for shopping. The group will turn in early because they have to leave Morelia at 4 a.m. to go to the airport. Jen arrive in Richmond around 2:30 Saturday afternoon. Ema and I will have lots of hugs and kisses waiting for her.
