Jen in Mexico-Wednesday

The bus trip took three hours on Wednesday. And when the group arrived, they again were welcomed by dancers. But this time, the group was ushered into a line and paraded through town. Many people waved at them and threw confetti.

One woman leaned over at Jen during the parade and said, "I think this is our 15 minutes of fame."

A feast awaited them at the center. But first they watched the women of the town prepare the food. Jen said the tortillas were absolutely fabulous.

After lunch, sponsors met with children. Jen was close to sponsoring a little girl, who was her constant companion during the visit, but she decided to wait until Ema was older so she could participate.

Since the bus ride was so long, they only had 30 minutes to get ready for dinner once they arrive back to the hotel. Jen sat next to the mariachi band and ate her fill.

Before she left on the trip, Jen placed Ema's clothes out for the week. I'm down to two outfits. That means my beautiful wife will be back very soon. :)
